There will soon b a via ferrata under the Mazamet footbridge with a 210m zipline

3/16/2022

A via ferrata will be set up under the Himalayan footbridge at Mazamet (Tarn)

We could already have shivers of vertigo and enjoy an exceptional panorama on the Mazamet footbridge (Tarn). We will soon be able to do it just below. A via ferrata will open there just before the summer of 2022.
The Mazamet footbridge has become a must in record time. Open to the public at the end of 2018, it had exceeded 300,000 visitors (the site is free and accessible at all times but a counter certifies attendance) three years later. And this, despite the Covid-19 pandemic. Summer and winter, where photographers feast on seas of mist

Four zip lines and four rope bridges

This will be installed below the footbridge, on the walls of Hautpoul, among others. And she looks awesome. Including four zip lines. One of which is… 210 m long. That is more than the footbridge and one of the longest in France. Another zip line will be 120m long, while the last two will be 80m long. Four rope bridges will also be proposed, including one of 12 m.
